Solar water heating comes in different types and methods, the best method is efficient solar water heating panels or collector vacuum tubes which heat the water on the surface of a roof and the water circulates through into the holding tank, until the water reaches a certain temperature. Solar Water heating Systems:
1. The LP Low pressure Collector Tube System -Comprises of a 110 litre Solar water heater, self-filler tank, 12 vacuum tubes and stand. It is a close coupled- direct Low pressure system.
Ideal Domestic solar water heater for easy roof installation, with better angel of sun variations, can be positioned general north and doesn't required exact angle installations.
The direct system uses sun radiation absorption into the collector vacuum tubes and directly heats the water in the solar water heater tank. In the closed coupled system, the vacuum tubes are an integral part of the storage tank known as thermosyphon system using basic principles of physics to circulate the hot water into the tank. It needs to operate with good water quality, but its advantages are ideal for low cost housing where homes do not have an electric water heater to supply hot water and in rural areas and homes where electricity is not readily available to heat water. It provides hot water to those who don't have the luxury of having hot water on tap.

2. The Collector Panel System -Comprises of a 100, 150, 200 or 300 litre Solar water heater, self-filler tank, 1 or 2 panels. It is a close coupled- direct system. Operating pressures of up to 400 kpa.
Ideal Domestic solar water heater for easy roof installation, but requires a dedicated angle north facing to sun variations. But only works in frost free climates, or we install our anti frost system onto the units as an extra.
Options of 1, 2 or more panels depending on hot water demand, in two sizes 2m or 2,5m.
